The Science
These hemp-derived Delta 9 gummies utilize a specific human cannabinoid receptor called 11-hydroxy-THC. After Delta-8 or Delta-9 have been ingested and metabolized in the liver, 11-hydroxy-THC allows them to deliver a more potent and lasting effect. The effects are more Sativa-leaning with less of a body high, more subtle, and less likely to sneak up on you.
Farm Bill Compliant
There are two reasons these new gummies are not classified as Cannabis. First and foremost, the THC they use comes from the Hemp plant, not the Marijuana plant. Secondly, they have less than 0.3% Delta 9 THC in them. Each gummy contains less than 0.3% of Delta-9 THC by dry weight.
The individual gummies have approximately 10 mg of THC and have a total weight of 6 grams (6,000 mg). That means 0.3% of Delta-9 THC comes to about 10 mg. Therefore, each pack comes with around 100 mg of Delta 9 THC at 10 mg each. To comply with current Hemp laws, each Gummy needs to have 0.3% or less of Delta 9 THC.
